Additional operation of Part
(1) Without prejudice to its effect apart from this section, this Part also has effect as provided by this section. (2) This Part has, by force of this subsection, the effect it would have if: (a) any references in this Part to a carrier were, by express provision, confined to a carrier that is a corporation; and (b) any references in this Part to a carriage service provider were, by express provision, confined to a carriage service provider that is a corporation. (3) In addition to the effect that this Part has as provided by subsection (2), this Part has, by force of this subsection, the effect it would have if subsections 151AJ(2) and (3) were, by express provision, confined in their operation to engaging in conduct to the extent to which the conduct takes place in the course of or in relation to: (a) trade or commerce between Australia and places outside Australia; or (b) trade or commerce among the States; or (c) trade or commerce within a Territory, between a State and a Territory or between 2 Territories; or (d) the supply of goods or services to the Commonwealth or an authority or instrumentality of the Commonwealth.
