Acquisition of property
Scope (1) This section applies to any of the following provisions: (a) a provision of Division 3; (b) any other provision of this Act, to the extent to which the provision relates to Division 3. Effect of provision (2) The provision has no effect to the extent (if any) to which its operation would result in the acquisition of property (within the meaning of paragraph 51(xxxi) of the Constitution) from a person otherwise than on just terms (within the meaning of that paragraph).
