Registration of a CCIV
If: (a) an application to register a company as a CCIV is lodged under section 117; and (b) the company meets the requirements for registration as a CCIV set out in section 1222; ASIC may take the steps set out in paragraphs 118(1)(a), (b) and (c) for the company. Note 1: The CCIV comes into existence on registration: see section 119. Note 2: ASIC must also register at least one sub‑fund of the CCIV: see paragraph 1222(d) and section 1222R.
