Copy of the register of members—sub‑funds
(1) Subsection 252C(3) does not apply in relation to a CCIV or a sub‑fund of a CCIV. (2) To call a meeting of the members of a CCIV, the members requesting the meeting may ask the CCIV under section 173 for a copy of the register of members. (3) To call a meeting of the members of a sub‑fund of a CCIV, the members requesting the meeting may ask the CCIV under section 173 for a copy of so much of the register of members as relates to membership of the sub‑fund. (4) Despite paragraph 173(3)(b), the CCIV must, without charge, give the members requesting the meeting: (a) if subsection (2) of this section applies—the copy of the register; or (b) if subsection (3) of this section applies—so much of the register of members as relates to membership of the sub‑fund. (5) An offence based on subsection (4) is an offence of strict liability.
