Schedule 7 to the amending Act (disclosure rules)
(1) The amendments made by Part 1 of Schedule 7 to the amending Act apply to a disclosure document for an offer of securities if the disclosure document is lodged with ASIC on or after the day on which this Act receives the Royal Assent. (2) The amendments made by Part 2 of Schedule 7 to the amending Act apply to a Product Disclosure Statement that is required to be given on or after the day on which this Act receives the Royal Assent. (3) The amendment made by items 10 and 11 of Schedule 7 to the amending Act applies to an offer of debentures that is made on or after the day on which this Act receives the Royal Assent. (4) Section 708A applies to an offer of securities for sale that is made on or after the day on which this Act receives the Royal Assent. (5) Section 1012DA applies to: (a) a recommendation situation if the relevant conduct (within the meaning of subsection 1012A(2)); and (b) a sale situation if the relevant conduct (within the meaning of subsection 1012C(2)); occurs on or after the day on which this Act receives the Royal Assent.
