Schedule 2 to the amending Act (deterring corporate misconduct)
(1) The amendment made by item 2 of Schedule 2 to the amending Act applies in relation to a compromise or arrangement if an application relating to the compromise or arrangement was made under subsection 411(1) on or after the day on which that item commences. (2) The amendment made by item 11 of Schedule 2 to the amending Act applies in relation to a matter that appears to a person: (a) during the 6‑month period ending when that item commences; or (b) on or after the day on which that item commences; where the relevant date is on or after the day on which that item commences. (3) Section 489A applies in relation to a section 486B warrant if the warrant is issued on or after the day on which that section commences.
