Termination of appointment for outside work
Vice Presidents, Deputy Presidents and Commissioners (1) The Governor‑General must terminate the appointment of a Vice President, Deputy President or Commissioner if the Vice President, Deputy President or Commissioner engages, except with the President’s approval, in paid work outside the duties of his or her office (see subsection 633(1)). Expert Panel Members (2) The Governor‑General must terminate the appointment of an Expert Panel Member if the Expert Panel Member engages in paid work that, in the President’s opinion, conflicts or may conflict with the proper performance of his or her duties (see subsection 633(3)).
