Delegation by Minister
(1) The Minister may, in writing, delegate all or any of his or her functions or powers under this Act (except under section 32A) to: (a) the Secretary of the Department; or (b) an SES employee, or acting SES employee, in the Department. (2) In performing functions or exercising powers under a delegation, the delegate must comply with any directions of the Minister. Note: See also sections 34AA and 34AB of the Acts Interpretation Act 1901.
