Powers of court in relation to imprisoned person
Release of imprisoned respondent (1) The court that has sentenced the respondent to imprisonment may order the release of the respondent if it is satisfied that the respondent will, if released, comply with the court’s orders. Suspension of sentence (2) The court that sentences the respondent to imprisonment may: (a) suspend the sentence upon the terms and conditions determined by the court; and (b) terminate such a suspension.
