Civil remedies not affected by conviction
(1) Nothing in section 134 or in section 135, nor any proceeding, conviction, or judgment thereupon, shall affect any remedy at law, or in equity, which any party aggrieved would have had if this Act had not been passed. (2) No evidence of the conviction of any person under either of the said sections shall be admissible in any action, or suit, against the person.
