Accrual—dispossession or discontinuance
Where the plaintiff in an action on a cause of action to recover land or a person through whom the plaintiff claims— (a) has been in possession of the land, and (b) while entitled to the land, is dispossessed or discontinues his or her possession, the cause of action accrues on the date of dispossession or discontinuance.
