Application of this Act
(1) This Act applies to an arbitration in like manner as it applies to an action. (2) An arbitration for any difference or matter under any provisions for arbitration is not maintainable if commenced after the date of the expiration of the period of limitation fixed by or under this Act for a cause of action in respect of the same difference or matter.
