Damages that may be awarded
(1) The only damages that may be awarded are— (a) damages for economic loss as permitted by Division 4.2, and (b) damages for non-economic loss as permitted by Division 4.3. (2) This section does not apply to an award of damages in an action under the Compensation to Relatives Act 1897.
