Information and documents to be given with termination notice
(1) The regulations may require supporting documents or information to be given by a landlord when giving a termination notice. (2) A landlord or landlord’s agent must not give false or misleading supporting documents or information when giving a termination notice. (3) It is a defence to an offence under subsection (2) if the landlord or landlord’s agent shows that the landlord or agent did not know, and could not reasonably have found out, the document or information was false or misleading.
