Meaning of Supplementary Product Disclosure Statement
A Supplementary Product Disclosure Statement is a document by which a person who has prepared a Product Disclosure Statement (the PDS) can: (a) correct a misleading or deceptive statement in the PDS; or (b) correct an omission from the PDS of information it is required to contain; or (c) update, or add to, the information contained in the PDS; or (d) change a statement of a kind referred to in paragraph 1016E(1)(a) or (b). Note: In certain circumstances a Replacement Product Disclosure Statement may be prepared instead of a Supplementary Product Disclosure Statement (see Subdivision DA).
